I stayed in this villa for a week at the end of August and it was idyllic. It was our first little holiday with our 14 month old and we couldn't have wished for more. The owners are wonderful hosts, thoughtful and friendly but they give you plenty of space to just be as a family. Their home and its surroundings are simply beautiful and it is perfect for toddling little ones. Our daughter loved their two dogs and cats and gorged herself on fresh strawberries picked from the vegetable patch which you are encouraged to use. She found the pool a little cold but a 2 year old was happily splashing away in there. I did the cooking course one morning and it was wonderful. We took day trips a couple of times but felt just as relaxed lying in the hammocks and by the pool. The cot, baby bath, high chair, and kitchen facilities were all great for our needs. We would definitely go back. Thank you all!

This is an Edenic destination, situated in the heart of the Italian hill country near Lake Tresimino, one of the most gorgeous spots on earth. Your charismatic hosts are not just managers of a perfectly-maintained set of villas set in exquisitely landscaped surroundings. They also exemplify a certain art of living -- in tune with the Italian countryside, committed to a green stewardship of the vines and olive groves of their farm, appreciative of the great beauty, both natural and artistic that surrounds them in Umbria and nearby Tuscany. The owner's daughter does cooking classes brilliantly, while her mother knows intimately the flora and fauna of the region, and also many of its hidden artistic treasures. It is a hard place to leave -- which is why so many of us choose to come back year after year.

After our daughter recommended this place, we decided to make a reservation for ourselves for a 5 night stay. We were welcomed with open arms by the owner and her son. This is most obviously a property of passion, with gorgeous villa accommodation, very private and comfortable. The owner and her family own and manage this beautiful organic olive, wine and vegetable farm with love. We also did the cooking school they offer on one of our days which was lots of fun and very informative. I confidently recommend this place to anyone wanting an Umbrian experience and look forward to one day returning with all our family.
