We stayed here during our wedding trip to Italy in April 2014 as it was recommended by our wedding planner. Everything about this place was amazing and we cannot wait to return. Upon arrival we were greeted by the property manager who was so kind and helpful throughout our stay. We also met the owner who was also very nice and friendly - she recommended a wine tasting at her nephews winery down the road which was a fantastic experience. The grounds are immaculately kept and you are free to wander the olive groves on the property. We took many wedding pictures around the property and the back drop was outstanding. The apartments are gorgeous and everything is well thought out, very clean and beautifully decorated. Upon arrival we received a welcome basket with some amenities like coffee, wine, bread, snacks and such. It's easy to feel at home here and they are wonderful hosts. I cannot recommend this place enough if you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful oasis in the middle of Tuscany.

It is very difficult to put our feelings for this villa in words because this place just manages to bring the best out of anyone who will stay in it, and more particularly it triggered in our families such a beautiful synergy that we will remember for the rest of our lives. We stayed there, during the week of our wedding, with 23 of our friends and family for one week in September. The villa itself, the pool, the lovingly decorated rooms, the hosts and the 360 evergreen surroundings are so charming and magical that each and everyone one of us had an extraordinary experience, each one in his own way. You just have to go there in order to experience the emotions, the laughter and the happy tears that we have been through. Girls from WeddingsinTuscany, had helped us find this place. They also helped us with the organization of the details of the wedding and it ended up being even better than anything that we had ever dreamed of. We began the week on Saturday night with a dinner at L'Osteria Del Vicario, which is a gourmet Osteria, near the town hall of Certaldo Alto (where we got married on the Thursday of that week). We then enjoyed a cooking class on the Sunday with the chef and her sister and her sweet mother. This family of chefs, all while showing us how to make fresh pasta and raviolis from scracth, inspired our guests to reach beyond themselves and find the hidden talents :). It was a great activity to get the families to know each other better, all while enjoying music and dancing on the green lawn in the sun. Later that week, we had the most touching, emotional, and fantabulous time of our lives, getting married in the enchanting medieval town hall of Certaldo Alto, which was a ten minute drive from the villa. We then came back to the villa to enjoy the aperitivo and an unreal sunset that one has never witnessed before. Everyone felt simply at home.. Everyone got comfortable and relaxed and delighted in a delicious meal prepared by the caterer and orchestrated by Ranieri and his band (The musicians). It was unfortunate that we had to use a Gazebo, so I would recommend anyone considering to have their wedding there to do it one week or two earlier to make sure it is not chilly at night. Nonetheless, this did not prevent the dancing and the evening fun that lasted late into the night :) The next day, we had arranged for a Yoga session for everyone to unwind and stretch on the green lawn of the villa and this was, to our surprise, a very popular activity that everyone appreciated as it rejuvenated them after the dancing from the previous night... Also worth mentioning are the daily breakfasts and the brunches (on the wedding day and the aftermath day). Still, please note that all these services, housekeeping, breakfast, brunches, etc..are over and above the price you pay for renting the villa. All in all, a great thank you the owner and the assistant who really went out of their way to make sure our stay was a very pleasant journey :) So simply heavenly is all that we can say.
