This place was amazing from the picturesque views to the spacious accommodations, everything was perfect. We stayed there as part of a wedding party and had the entire complex among ourselves/friends. However, there are a couple of things that you should know to make your stay more enjoyable. First, very few people in the area speak fluent English so at least download some sort of dictionary/phrase app before you come. Second, you should rent a car for your stay to help with purchasing groceries, getting to and from the city center/train station if you plan to go into Florence, Siena, etc. Trains to Florence run at least every hour between like 5am-11pm. During peak hours there trains about every 30 minutes. There is a restaurant which is technically in walking distance which had good food but your dining experience will be much more enjoyable if you can drive. We ended up calling a cab several times which was 20-30 euros for one way into/out of the train station. The cab driver, while extremely nice and reliable, also did not speak English so that was interesting. It takes about 20 minutes to get from the villa to the train station. The villa also has a laundry room that is open during the day. The nice lady who tends the villa will help you with working the machines, I think she also did alterations for a couple of people as well. I would def. go back especially with a big group or a reunion type event.

Our stay at this apartment was so enjoyable. First of all, the views and gardens are astounding! We loved looking out our bedroom windows every morning to see the beautiful Tuscan rolling hills and vineyards. The apartments are nice and well maintained. The welcome basket containing a bottle of wine, coffee and other goodies was a nice surprise. The groundskeeper and the owner were very accommodating. The owner's brother runs the winery, and he arranged a nice tour and tasting for us. They have very good wines. Unfortunately, our rental car broke down at the winery, and he arranged a ride back to the villa for us. All are very nice people, and the property is beautiful.
