We had booked the villa for 2 weeks with friends, a total of 6 adults and 5 children, and we have enjoyed a great time. The villa is a charming authentic building with a "soul" with old furniture yet very comfortable ; perfectly refurbish, nice bedrooms, great bathrooms, fantastic kitchen that makes you want to cook all day long. Even though there is no direct view on the Tuscan landscape from the buildin, you can very much enjoy if from the back garden and the beautiful swimming pool (with a pergola !). The house is fully equiped, and for anything else you might need, the owners are absolutely charming and very helpful. The swimming pool is secured, and that is very rare in Italy, clearly a key point in our decision process. The villa is part of a very small hamlet and we found it nice having neighbours and having the church's bell pacing our day. My wife had organised a great party for my birthday and that evening in the garden with the sunset on the Tuscan hills it will remain one of the best times of my life. My husband and I had rented this villa with other couples two times before and were delighted to take our two girls, their spouses and 4 grandchildren (18, 16, 13 and 11) for a week long stay recently. It was a pure joy to share this with them and the hosts did everything possible to make it so. The furnishings were fresh and delightful to use, the kitchen was well equipped (and we all had fun in there) and the dining room table seats 10, so we all sat around with good food and laughter. The new air conditioning was used the first night (and it did great) but we lucked up and had cool weather the rest of the week and could leave the windows open and have the Tuscan breezes. It actually was too cool for the pool but the children played soccer in the olive groves and we sat outside in the garden every night before dinner to enjoy the peacefulness and the gigantic sunsets. The roses were in full bloom and were exquisite. The olive trees and the grape vines both were blooming and some of our crowd had allergy problems. I would recommend you to take the proper meds with you if you have these issues. (The fragrances were glorious, everywhere.) All in all, the villa lived up to our high expectations and everyone had their own space, private bath and plenty of room. The location of the villa is so convenient to the villages that we love to visit and easy to go into Florence or Sienna, when you learn the right ways to park. We did both and it was always heaven to return to "our villa". Ciao, MGB

Our friends found and booked this villa for a week-long trip with us and about 15 other friends/family. It was the perfect home-base for our day trips in Tuscany, to Florence and the surrounding areas (only about 20-30mins from Florence). The villa is a perfect mix of old-time charm and modern amenities. The view in every direction is postcard-worthy. The pool is cool, but refreshing. The grounds are immaculate. We had a once in a lifetime trip that we will never forget. The hosts helped plan some day amazing day trips and arranged for breakfasts/dinners and even a pasta-making lesson in the house. We will hopefully be able to come back someday and spend even more time in beautiful Tuscany (at this or their other smaller but even more modern-style Villa)!
