My wife and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary and were absolutely delighted with the villa. The private pool and sunbathing area was ideal for relaxation and the owner and her team were always helpful but in no way intrusive. The area is relatively unspoilt with beautiful coves and beaches in easy reach - in stark contrast to the unpleasant developments in the south of the island.

Me and my boyfriend spent a week in May 2012 at this villa. We really had an amazing time. Everything was so perfectly organized! Our booking, our arrival and of course our stay. The area was quiet and relaxing. The villa was extremely clean and very well equipped. The only thing I regret is that we didn't stay for two weeks! We will definitely recommend the villa to friends and family and are hoping for a return trip, as well! Many thanks to all!!

This is an amazing place. The villa is super. We have the most amazing views of the sea from every window. It is very private and away from the hustle of bustle of the main towns. My husband and I stayed at this villa at the end of May 2013. So often I have been disappointed with the level of service when I go on holiday - here my expectations were met, and then exceeded! An amazing villa with private pool, balcony on the first floor with a spectacular view to the Ionian Sea and the port, ensuite shower in our bedroom, hair-dryer, iron, safe box, cozy living area and lots of books and wi-fi for our entertainment!! The service is incredible, and the whole experience was great from start to finish. We were very sad to leave and would definitely return in future. Many thanks to our hosts and the rest of the staff for everything they did for us!!

We planned an impromptu visit to Zakynthos on our recent trip to Greece, and it was by far the best part of our trip. The drive from the port to the Villa was breathtaking, through picturesque villages and at times right along the stunning coastline. We arrived at the Villa and it was more beautiful than we could have hoped. Our host greeted us as we arrived and we were immediately taken in by her warmth, her service was exceptional. The Villa was beautifully appointed, private, and the view was to die for. The location was excellent, the small village of St Nikolas was not only very pretty with amazing food, but also a departure spot for the boat tours to the blue caves and the shipwreck (both a must see!) We were surrounded by tavernas that had some of the best food we have eaten in Greece, we were impressed by each and every one. Importantly, we traveled with two small children but found that they were treated warmly by everyone we came across. They have many memories of being shown how the fish they chose for dinner was being cooked on the charcoal, or being taken to see a nest of baby birds while waiting for the food to hit the table. The Villa was perfect for a family as it had two gorgeous bedrooms, two bathrooms and of course, the private pool. We found our host to be amazing, we changed our arrival time at last minute and arrived much earlier than planned, and forgot to bring our portable baby cot, but she made sure that everything was ready when we arrived. Due to availability, she even upgraded us to a larger villa knowing that we were traveling with the kids. Can't wait to visit again!!

Last June we stayed in this villa. It was a truly amazing stay! They really offer what they promise on the website. The villa is clean, very nice, spacious and private with great views. You're next door neighbours aren't too close so your privacy is guaranteed. We were travelling with a 2 year old and on arrival I was anxious about the staircase. The host told us not to worry and an hour later a safety gate was placed! Great service. The villa was cleaned every day as well as the pool area (a few times a week). The pool is very large with great sea view, nice sunbeds and umbrellas, a bbq area and an outdoor shower to wash off the salty water (pool is salt water). The villa is in a remote area of Zakynthos, it's for people who like to see the real Greece. (which we prefer while travelling abroad). In our opinion you do need a car. A few restaurants are within walking distance, but for most restaurants and shops you need to drive a few kilometers. Here you don't find a lot of bars and bustling nightlife. If that's what you are looking for you should stay in other parts of Zante. Overall we had an amazing stay, with great memories in a very nice villa! Price/quality is very good and staff very nice! Me and my now husband got married out in Zante on June 17th 2013, and we came to stay at the villa for 4 nights for our honeymoon. I have to say, from the moment we arrived it was paradise. We were greeted by our host who made us feel so welcome. The villa is set just outside the village of Agios Nikolaos- surrounded by peace and quiet, just the way we liked it. The villa is outstandingly clean, spacious and modern. It was cleaned regularly- and not that we expected it- but the cleaners even cleaned our dishes and put them away! We even ordered food in on our first evening from the restaurant across the way- that was delicious!!! The food was so good, that we decided to go and eat in there on the last night- the food is amazing! (Not to mention the sun set views that you get to see). We would definitely go back and stay at this villa - our short break away was worth every penny!!! Would recommend to anyone!

We spent a week in this villa. The hosts are very accommodating, friendly and helpful. We loved the villa, the private pool was so much better to have than going to the beach for us. Agios Nikolaos is a great location to stay on the island, as you can just walk to the port from the villas to get on the boat tour to go see the shipwreck and blue caves, it is on the most scenic road of the island with breath taking views of the sea, and to our preference, it is away from the crowd. Restaurants were not crowded at all in July, same for the roads, which is a big plus knowing how challenging they are. The villas were very quiet at night. Same during the day, until our last day, when a large family moved in next to us, but you can not see anyone from your villa, just hear them if they are out in their pool and being noisy. It is very private. The villa is about 40 minutes from Zakynthos town, 45 minutes from the airport (count an hour the first time you drive these roads, and there are no road or street names other than in Zakynthos town) and an hour from Keri beach, the other end of the island, so overall you can go see everything and do anything easily. We really enjoyed our stay at the villa and in the island and will come back for sure!!

We went to the villa for our honeymoon away from it all to relax and unwind and we were not disappointed! There wasn't one thing I would change. Fully equipped kitchen with lots of clean/newer dishes and cooking stuff. Pool would be great for an evening dip for a couple or for the kids to splash in while mom and dad sunbathe. Private from all other villas and covered parking. Large spaces inside. Close to many many restaurants including an awesome one right across the street that delivers! On the north end of the island away from the congested touristy areas but close to the port to shipwreck beach and blue caves. Would recommend to everyone. If your planning on going to Zakynthos you must be crazy to want to stay anywhere else!

Just back from two weeks at Sunny Villa. From the moment we arrived and were shown to our villa by the owner, we couldn't have been happier. The villa itself was spotless, comfortable and very well equipped, including dishwasher and washing machine. The pool and surrounding patio were private with sun beds and a large outdoor sofa. Sun shading too and a stone built BBQ complete with charcoal and firefighters. The villa was cleaned daily and bedding and towels changed every other day. The hosts were so helpful with advice and practical help when we had some wifi problems that were quickly resolved. Ideal as our daughter had her first baby while we were away (we'd booked before we knew she was pregnant) and we were able to get new born photos and FaceTime once she was home. The restaurant opposite (Orizontes) is excellent: good food, friendly service and very reasonably priced. Lots of boat trips from the port. Blue caves are excellent but, personally, and having been there, I wouldn't bother with the shipwreck trip. The beach was absolutely packed (mid September) and the wreck itself is a rusting hulk covered from end to end with graffiti. Excellent tavernas at the port and the beach at Nobelos restaurant is very pretty. All in all, a great fortnight, much of which is due to the villa.
