We had a fantastic holiday - everything was perfect, the villa, the location and wonderful views. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner, he is the most helpful, welcoming and friendly person you could wish for. Loved the kayaks in the cave - no better place to try kayaking for the first time. Truly a holiday to remember, we did not want to come home.

We have visited 12 Greek islands in the past and our stay at Lakynthos Villa was without doubt the best. The owner is the perfect host and we have been spoilt with various products from the garden. The children loved Dias, the dog. Dias was quite happy to sit in the kayak while the children row him to the caves. The walk to the beach is spectacular and the water crystal clear. The villa is of the beaten track and great beaches are with in 10 min drive. Don't wait visit this place soon for a memorable holiday.

Wow!! Absolutely beautiful location...breath taking views over the turquoise Ionian sea. Short walk from the small port of St Nicholas where the people were so friendly and beautiful food and drink were flowing in abundance! Great traditional Greek night every Friday in one of the restaurants on the beach...would recommend this also! Our host was so welcoming and managed to host the fantastic wedding in such a calm and organised manner which helped to make it the memorable day that it was. In my opinion you would struggle to find such lovely villa in such a beautiful, relaxing location. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!!!

Just returned from an excellent week at Lakynthos Villa with the family. A truly wonderful place in the most amazing surrounds. The villa itself is magnificent with so much space and fantastic finishing touches from the owner himself. It's an ideal place for a quiet holiday, a family holiday, a romantic holiday or even an action packed holiday! For us the dog was an added bonus joining us on trips down to the sea and regularly visiting us outside the villa or by the poolside. The owner made us feel welcome and was more than hospitable throughout our stay, cooking a delicious dinner for us one evening from the traditional stone baked oven. I would definitely recommend and would certainly love to return some time in the future.

We stayed in Lakynthos Villa and have nothing but superlatives to say. Incredibly nice villa with an unmatched, secluded location with breathtaking views and an owner who serves as an incredibly thoughtful host. For a family of any size with legs good enough to walk up and down a couple of hundred steps to the sea, you will not find a better place in Greece. This is truly, truly spectacular.

We've spent two weeks in Lakynthos Villa. Our villa was built right on the cliff offering fantastic view across the sea so that you can see undisturbed sunrise (if you are lucky enough to stay in this villa and not lazy enough to get up early). The villa is a traditional Greek-style home with a lot of air and space- it is roomy to easy accommodate 6 people plus other two can stay in the adjacent guest-house. Villa is sitting 50 m above the sea level and it takes just few minutes to get down to the crystal clear water. The way back is slightly more laborious but mind you - it will keep you in shape! Location of the villa is away from main tourist traffic so you can enjoy swimming as you would do in your private beach. The owner's hospitality is fantastic - he is always ready to make you stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible by offering to cook barbecue, bring grapes and tomatoes from his newly developed vineyard. I highly recommend this place for those who look for active holiday with a lot of swimming, bike riding and enjoying truly Greek cuisine.

When I first stepped on the to balcony at Lakynthos Villa, it brought tears to my eyes. Just over a year later I am lucky enough to say I got married at this amazing location. With all our friends and family together in one place, it couldn't help but be a great week. But the host and his dog made it truly magical. This dream duo do everything they can to make your holiday an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience - nothing was too big or too small, and every request was met by the host's characteristic smile, and dealt with quiet efficiency. He is an amazing host and helped to make our dream wedding into a reality. I cannot thank him enough!! All the small details are thought of - villas stocked are with "essentials" when you arrive, the kayaks and snorkelling gear, and don't even get me started on the mind-blowing villa itself!!! Port St. Nik is a fantastic place to stay and the locals are some of the friendliest, most welcoming people I have ever had the pleasure to meet, in any country in which I have travelled. La Storia has THE BEST calamari I have ever eaten, and you can't beat the water-side location. And if you want a truly special dining experience, don't forget to visit Nobelos - simply fantastic food and staff. Furthermore, the hosts took care of many of our wedding details, without any fuss - nothing was a problem. Plenty of fantastic local food, wine, musicians, even finding haybales and wine barrels for us to use as decorations. We couldn't have asked for anything better. I truly hope we will be back to this amazing place - it holds a very special place in our hearts. Come and visit - you will NEVER regret it!!!!

My partner and I travelled to Greece with our 3 month old baby boy from Australia, for 10 days. We had organised our wedding for June 2014 at the Lakynthos Villa. We were joined by a group of 27 family and friends for a week. We visited this place in 2013 before deciding for definite it was to be our wedding venue. As soon as we arrived we knew it was the perfect place. I liaised with the owner via email throughout the past year to make all the arrangements. Nothing was finalised until the details were perfect as both owners were set on making everything truly special. Once we arrived, the weather was perfect, the guests were fantastic and our host was the best! The host is the friendliest man I have met and nothing is too much hassle for him. He looked after us, along with our family and friends amazingly! The villas are out of this world, perfect for a quiet holiday or a big group get together. They are not on top of each other but just the right distance apart to be nice and private. The location is unbelievable! The pictures say it all. Dias (the villa dog) came kayaking with us every time people went out exploring the caves, which are out of this world. Our wedding day was perfect! The ceremony, reception, dinner and party were unbelievable, with the greek musicians giving it that extra special touch. There was more food than you could ever imagine, cooked in the outdoor oven and the BBQ. It could have fed us twice over! I cannot thank the hosts enough for the memories that were made in the 10 days we were there. Both are truly amazing in their hospitality, the holiday wouldn't have been the same without you both!

Our family of five adults stayed in the Lakynthos Villa for two weeks. To say that it exceeded all expectations is to greatly understate how thrillingly beautiful the setting is. Sitting on the terrace and gazing at the sea was Nirvana. We had the most gracious and pleasant hosts imaginable. We felt as if this was our home and we were blessed with two charming neighbours who brought us gifts from their farm - olives, olive oil, wine, lavender, lavender cookies, fresh baked bread, oranges, lemons, tomatoes, and much more. A delightful treat was kayaking with Dias, the golden retriever, and cuddling his little puppy sister Hera. Photos can't do justice to the beauty of the setting. The little town on Agios Nikolaos is charming and beautiful with plenty of great dining options by the sea. The north end of Zakynthos is very quiet, unlike the south, and is perfect for relaxing. It's like traveling back four decades in time to a peaceful, quiet Greek island. Thank you for two incredible weeks! These will be among our fondest memories as a family! And please give Dias and Hera hugs from us!
