The property and the location are idyllic. I took several photos just like the ones on the property's website and advertising pages here - so it really does look like that in real life - no photo-shopping here! The owners were extremely friendly and really took their time to help us with suggestions for places to visit, things to do and where to eat to suit our own personal tastes. The windmill is quite far from anywhere and it is important to have a car, but Oia is only 10-15 minutes' drive away and you can find everything you need there. We were very well looked after and had a wonderfully relaxing holiday on a beautiful island. We are seriously discussing a return visit next year.

We stayed at this villa for 4 nights in late May and enjoyed it very much. Yes, it is a windmill design with three floors, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and a full kitchen. Very clean, nicely painted and comfortable furniture/beds. The villa has it's own private swimming pool with lounge chairs and towels. Breakfast is served every morning poolside includes eggs, croissant, rolls, butter and spreads, coffee and teas. Very fresh and nicely presented. Also, the housekeeper will provide laundry service for a fee. A little confusion here. One of the owners told us just to tip the housekeeper for the laundry and then the other owner asked for 20 Euro per large load. Not a big issue but should be written down or explained upon arrival. The only other minor issue is the lack of screens on the bedroom windows. This led to many flying insects at night when the lights were on. Again, not a big issue but you should be aware. We just closed the windows at dusk and all was fine. The rooms are air conditions. Would recommend this place without hesitation. The owners are wonderful and very helpful. You will need a rental car if you stay here which the owners will set up for you at a very reasonable price. Thank you!!

We spent a restful week at the villa after being met at the airport, and a rental car arranged and waiting for us. On arrival there we were warmly welcomed by the owner who had cooked a meal for us and continued to look after us by suggesting places to visit and where to eat on the island. The villa has everything you need for a comfortable vacation and we made good use of the pool/massage tub. The accommodation was everything we had hoped for and more!

On looking for a great 2 bed place for our holiday on Santorini, I couldn't believe my luck when I came across this villa. My normally understated family's response was 'wow' on seeing the photos, which I thoroughly endorsed. So we set off with high expectations, I am delighted to say though that the the villa we stayed in well exceeded our already high expectations (and believe me, we are fussy, we love good 5 star hotels). Other reviewers I know have spoken of the villa's facilities and location, so I will concentrate on the quality, which is quite remarkable. The owner was a great host well before we arrived, answering my numerous questions in a comprehensive and very helpful manner, and arranging boat trip, car hire, taxis etc. When we arrived he gave us the most comprehensive briefing on restaurants to try, activities, sites to visit, and then carried on to make numerous taxi bookings for us. A wonderful personal concierge service that far exceeded anything we've had in a top-notch hotel. But that was only one aspect of the quality, the other was the quality of the accommodation, which could really not be faulted, and as I mentioned, we are fussy! The villa is beautifully decorated to a very high standard, with lovely fluffy towels (changed daily) and high thread count bed linen. And a very efficient daily maid service, the house is hoovered daily, a first for me in Greece, as cursory sweep is normally the routine! If I was being really picky, a parasol for the sunloungers might be quite good. But given there is shade in the outdoor covered area it is not essential. A really remarkable wonderful experience, in fact it is so good that we are already booking for another 5 days next June! Just go, you won't regret it! You know you're staying somewhere really special when people stop by the road and take photos, and even walk up the drive to ask how they can stay there!

My wife and I had the entire villa to ourselves so it was really a treat. A unique, very carefully thought out and designed villa. Very private. The service by the owners was I felt, genuinely seeking to make the holiday special. I don't tend to go off others restaurant recommendations but the owner sent me an email with many, of which we ended up using 3 and all were as good as he said. Well located in a quiet area but with a closeness to the real Greece, eg, the villa sits surrounded by vineyards. The photos you see of the villa are what you actually get. It's about 15 mins from Oia and 10 mins from Thera. You need a car but do brave walking along the busy road to see the local area (still trying to work out why so many vine fields have an abandoned car in they - Greek scarecrows :). Get the timing right for Oia and Thera to avoid the coach trips and cruise ship hoards. I never think anywhere is perfect but have struggled to think of any aspect of improvement needed here - and finally came up with one - the tin opener did not work that well :)
