Quite liked this place and the owner and staff were very friendly, helpful and thoughtful. We often received freshly make goodies during our stay without notice, very nice! Great location, beautiful scenery, pools, use of car and secure accommodation made this lovely. As someone who likes to cook, I would have preferred a few more basic kitchen staples (measuring spoons and cups, bigger garbage can and decent cutting knives), and be sure to pick up essentials like paper towel, kleenex, foil etc if you find those a requirement. Only thing I would like to see improved are cleaner floors; however, the cleaner is already onsite daily for long days and is very busy, but otherwise daily room service was good. Thank you to the staff here and for the travel advice and helping us to arrange wine tours, etc.

The villa is beautifully designed, with much thought and care put into the facilities and layout of the property. Along with being architecturally well designed, the owners keep up the accommodation that seem consistently fresh and new. The décor is simple yet luxurious, and the villas perfectly fit into the surrounding landscape of fields, vineyards, sea side views, old fishing beaches and local Greek homes. The housekeeping is spotless and the linens are crisp and clean. The location is convenient and accessible to all other busy areas of Santorini, but remains peaceful and quiet with a local country feel. The owner and her husband are fantastic in Greek hospitality and will go out their way to make your stay pleasant, comfortable, and relaxing. Don’t miss out on the owner’s cooking, she will cook you a real Greek home-style family breakfast and more!

This villa is a lovely relaxing and quiet place to go for some well earned rest and relaxation. We initially chose this house for its great reviews and we weren't disappointed. We were looking for a peaceful location with great views and comfortable surroundings. Vourvoulos is away from it all, but only a five minute drive to Fira with all the shops, bars and life you would want. It supplies a small car included in the price which is great and you definitely need it to make the most of the island. The owner is a warm, friendly and ever cheery host who provides the warmest of welcomes and all the information and advice you need for a holiday to suit your tastes. The Villas are all beautifully appointed. Ou villa - perfect for the four of us and with a super sea view. The villa is well equipped and serviced daily by the lovely cleaning ladies. We loved our holiday here because it was away from noise, traffic, hustle and bustle and we couldn't fault anything. Thanks!

This is a family run complex, with the owner who oversees things. She's a wonderful host and around at breakfast most mornings talking to guests and serving coffee, etc.. These are apartments/villas - mostly private (some more so than others), but each has its own pool and some (all?) a BBQ area which is really great. They are modern, clean and spacious. The hotel is accessed through electric gates so it feels secure (although Santorini itself is safe), and the grounds are extremely well maintained, with lots of plants, herbs, growing. Breakfast is very good. Pastries, bread, meat, cheese, fruit, and some hot items are there to help yourself to, and the owner will offer to bring eggs, toast, bacon, etc.. It's a really great selection actually and the room/terrace where you eat breakfast is also very nice. You get a hire car, which is important, as this hotel is away from the main towns or Fira and Oia (or the beach resorts). But don't underestimate how small Santorini is, with a hire car it's no trouble getting to Fira in 10 mins. Plus you get the benefit of the relaxing quietness of the hotel being away from the bustle. We did have a problem with the arrangements for our hire car, but the owner put that right, even though it wasn't directly her fault. Other small problems were also dealt with quickly - so you can be confident the owner and staff will look after you. Well worth considering a stay here as an alternative to the more cramped hotels in Fira and Oia.

We stayed here for a week during June/July 2014 for a family wedding and this place proved to be the ideal base. The owner was a wonderful host and couldn't be more helpful. This side of this small beautiful island is far more relaxed than the caldera accommodation, which whilst dramatic is cramped, hot and noisy. We enjoyed the spacious areas around the pool (barbequeing for 16 people was a doodle) and the beautiful sea views. There is a quiet local beach and taverna c.400 m walk down the lane. The accommodation is in very good condition and well presented. There is very easy access to the rest of the island. Highly recommended!
