We had a fantastic time at the villa in Pendamodi. The country side view is absolutely breathtaking, and the convenience of your own pool truly makes it relaxing and enjoyable. The villa provided everything you could ask for to make sure your stay would be completely relaxing and stress free. A perfect place for a fantastic family holiday, and proves to have something for everyone.

September 15th 2013, a group of 5 friends arrived in Crete to spend a week at this villa. They say "a picture is worth a thousand words", but this location will take your breath away and leave you speechless. We were greeted at the airport in Heraklion by a car service and driven 30 minutes into the mountains to our destination. WOW!! Even now I find it difficult to convey the beauty and peace that surrounds you. At every turn there is a view, olive trees, mountains and in the distance the sea. Pure magic! The accommodation is excellent, everything one might need to LIVE, UNWIND and RENEW your spirit. In 30 minutes you can be in the city, sightseeing, dining, local and world history are all within reach. I started doing research on a place to visit well over 18 months before making this trip. I made many contacts, emails and calls and not one of those contacts expressed the interest or excitement that was offered by the owner. Our host is an amazing, tireless lady! She offered suggestions for many of our excursions and sights. If you want to truly see (authentic) Crete.... ask her. :) I have taken just under 800 pictures while visiting this place. We will be returning again, and again.. Thank you for everything, your efforts made this the trip of a lifetime!

The villa in Pendamodi Crete, Greece is one of the utmost relaxing places I've been to in quite some time. I very highly recommend you consider staying there. The environment is very serene. It is something that you will not get anywhere else. If you are going to Crete this is a premier location as it centralizes you amongst many of the fanciful things the island has to offer. The family that owns the villa are wonderfully nice folks. You can not get much better by way of having personalized care. During our stay they made sure that we were fully outfitted and prepared for everything. They provided extremely wonderful local delicacies of the area. I have to admit the oranges there are divine, be sure to partake in getting some or having some locally fresh orange juice. When you visit take your time to relax and let the surroundings flood your senses. I promise you will enjoy it.

If you can imagine leaving behind all of your worries and taking a step into the perfect paradise, this is the place! Walking up the cobblestone path to the beautiful villa, our breath was taken away upon seeing the vast views and the beautiful villa. All of the villas sit at the edge of Pendamodi so it remains very quiet and private with unobstructed views of the vineyards and mountains. The owners have provided a home away from home with every modern convenience you can think of! We were warmly greeted with a tasting of local fare (since we hadn't had lunch yet) and given a wonderful tour around Iraklion and advice on what else we should see there. We did everything we could fit into our schedule, and nothing was disappointing! Relaxing by the pool with a book, briki-made coffee, and views of the vineyards made for a perfect afternoon rest in between all the sightseeing. The villa itself is decorated nicely and filled with everything to make your stay most enjoyable. It was convenient filling our water from the mountain stream-fed fountain just outside the door. We didn't run into too many people speaking English, but they were all pleasant and helpful so there were no problems! If you are looking for a perfect holiday location where you feel at home without a lot of loud tourists around, you need to come here! I plan on going back again and very much look forward my "second home"!
