The house was fantastic, nearby restaurants and beach were also a huge plus. The owner was really available 24/7 for advice and help, the party we had on the last night left the place with a bit of cleaning up to do and his staff took it with a smile! Will definitely rent the house again.

We stayed at this villa, we rented 2 floors, in June with a group of 4 families (= 4 x 4 persons + 1 = 17 people) and it was really perfect. The villa is very well equipped for many people to stay comfortably. In addition to the nicely furnished interior, the outdoor elements added to the positive experience: the large balconies with fantastic views as well as the little backyard with children's playground and barbecue facilities made this villa a great place to stay for a group of several families. The nearby beach is only a few minutes walk down and it is also easy and fast to get to Split with public transportation or taxi. The owner was a nice person to get to know upon arrival, we felt very welcome and got many useful tips for the week. During the week he also helped us to organize a great evening for our large group in the old village higher up on the hill watching the sunset and having a great dinner. All in all, a great week and we can definitely recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay at this villa and will give it the best recommendation. We were 17 adults and two small kids and everybody said it was a fantastic place and vacation. The Villa had everything, baby beds and strollers for the kids, and a play house in the garden. The host was very kind. He arranged pick up at the airport for us, gave us a warm welcome with wine and a cheese, gave us a lot of good tips on where to eat and what to see. The villa was very modern and had all the facilities we wanted. The main bathroom was like a spa:) The location of the Villa was also very good. 2 minutes to the beach and a small grocery shop. Very nice area to do exercise like running, bicycle in the mountains and play tennis. We rented a car so it was easy to drive in to Split if we wanted to go to a bigger shopping mall, but the owner is also helpful in arranging transportation. We had a fantastic time and I really hope we will be back soon. Thank you so much for the unforgettable week!

Our family of 5 spent 7 glorious days at this beautifully maintained villa, plenty of room for us all to have space and enjoy each other at the same time! The owner is an excellent host and is above and beyond anything we have ever experienced when renting vacation properties and we have rented more than our share! I strongly encourage others to enjoy this amazing place and experience all Podstrana and the Dalmatian Coast have to offer!

Whatever the owner promised us, this villa was all that & more. I've never come across a host who is as detail oriented & welcoming as he is. Location, decor, comfort, hospitality...full marks of all counts! He even took us out sightseeing, introduced us to the local restaurants & bars. We had the most amazing time in Split!! I will surely visit Split again & when I do, I wouldn't stay anywhere else but this villa.

We stayed at this Villa in August of 2013 for a week. THE HOUSE: It was a perfect place for us - 11 people ages 5-89. With 5 rooms, two twin beds in each room with a separate bathroom in each, this was absolutely wonderful. In addition, there's a great large living room and gorgeous deck that gives everyone enough space to make a week's stay VERY comfortable. And the house is as clean, modern and beautiful as the pictures show - even more so really! The kitchen is just a galley kitchen but it was incredibly functional for its size. Sometimes we had 5 people working in there and it was actually okay! They even have a washing machine that you can use which was great for us since this was our second leg of the trip! It's a hike up lots a stairs to get to the top (the BEST) floor. It was fine for everyone but it was a little bit of a challenge for the 80+ year olds... but they were happy to stay up on the deck and look at the beautiful view of the Adriatic. THE LOCATION: This was the PERFECT location for Split and any other day trips in the area. Driving to Split was easy (15 min - 20 min depending on traffic) and there's a parking lot right outside the palace that makes it easy to get in and out to see these tourist sites. Then we took a boat tour to Blue Cave and the Islands and the boat picked us up from the Hotel pier just down the road - so we didn't have to drive and park in the city. We also took a van tour to Plitivice and the van picked us up down the street. So instead of staying in Split - which is a crowded, hot city, I was very happy we chose to stay in Podstrana in this beautiful rental. THE AREA: To get to the beach, you just walked down the hill (5 min) which made it super simple. And since the beach stretch is so long, it was never crowded when we got down there. So we didn't feel like sardines here like we did on other beaches. There's even a market down the hill as well which made it really easy to cook your own lunches and dinners at the house. It was PERFECT!! THE OWNERS: I can't say enough great things about our host and his family. They are so incredibly kind, sweet and helpful. They had a plate of sausage, cheese and fruit waiting for us when we arrived and the owner was willing to drive us to the airport if we needed him to. I would HIGHLY recommend this rental for anyone staying in the Split area.

Our stay in this Villa was amazing... Excellent location and beautiful villa. Clean, spacious and beautiful decor. We were 5 of us starting at the villa, and there was ample space for us. Very modern villa with high tech technology installed. We will definitely be going back in the summer.. Highly recommended. The owner is a great host as well, and advised us on the best places to visit and see in Split. Thanks!

The villa was everything as advertised and much more. Beautiful design and plenty of space. Internet access, huge TV, airconditioning... Everything. And as a bonus the owner is a very good host. Ask him for tips to the area, he knows a lot of great places and is happy to help. We had a perfect week here. Special mention on the huge bath tub. What a great way to relax after a day of sightseeing. The villa is close to Split so you can simply take a bus that runs close by and get to the city with a few kuna (croatian currency). Very good restaurants close by so no need to go to city if you don't want to. Amigos is worth a visit or five. But the Argola restaurant is a must. Remember you must reserve a day before, but the Peka is just amazing!

This villa remains to myself and the five friends I travelled with our most liked accommodation, and the week in Podstrana (Split), our most enjoyed week away. The Villa itself is of exceptional quality, in particular the living room and the balcony that boasts undisturbed 180 degree views of the stunning Adriatic Sea. Moments away from quiet beaches, mouth- watering seaside restaurants and the Podstrana marina, the villa is perfect for the traveller looking to truly enjoy a genuine Croatian experience whilst still being able to enjoy the perks of more tourist based amenities (such as the jet skis, island tours etc). The rooms are fantastic; they are large, have televisions, wardrobe space and all have their own ensuite bathrooms with shower facilities. From the moment we sent the first e-mail to the owner and host expressing our interest in staying at this villa, his amazing hospitality began to shone through. During our stay he as well as his parents were relentless with their assistance in accommodating our ever need. From recommending day trips, places to eat, to ordering our pizza after an extended day of sightseeing. A bus runs on the main road (half a minute walk away) into Split where the harbour, diocletians palace and brilliant restaurants complement the fresh sea air. I could go on and on, but all that needs to be said is that the Villa and the host have made sure our stay was certainly not our last and we look forward to returning. A big thank you to the owner and his parents once again.
