Whether you wish to take in a day at the theme parks and beaches of the Gold Coast (1hr15min) or Sunshine Coast (2hrs) or magestic Toowoomba atop the great Dividing Range (50min) or even a day shopping in Brisbane (35min). Beside those wonderful destinations you are smack bang in the middle of the fantastic city and region of Ipswich and the Brisbane and Lockyer Valley's. You can experience Motor racing, Ballooning, Hellicopter flights, sky diving, wineries numerous country and city pubs, bush walking, rain forest walks the list is endless. So book Adelaide House and thrive and then revive.

• Best free activities: Australian Wildlife Sanctuary 300m stroll from Adelaide House ( small coin donation is always appreciated). Nerima Japanese Gardens 400m stroll. Iconic Queens Park just across the road offering beautiful gardens and playgrounds for the young and young at heart. Global Arts Link offering amazing exhibitions.
• Best paid activities: Willowbank Raceway, V8 Supercars, Superbikes, Drags and drifting. Ipswich Horse Racing Turf Club. Take in a 1 hour train ride to Brisbane.
