The long stretch of white sand in Jimbaran Bay is the perfect place to relax and watch the fishing boats and see the sun set over the ocean. While the beach is popular it is not as commercial as many parts of Bali, which is reflected in the easy going relaxed vibe of this fishing village.
Fly into Denpasar Airport and get a taxi to Jimbaran. There is an airport taxi service counter at the airport, which gives you a fixed price, which is very easy. The ride is only 10-15 minutes and costs around 75,000 rupiah.
Jimbaran's warm blue waters are a great place to learn to surf, head out onto the water and catch a break.
Head to Karma Kandara for a day trip and pamper yourself at the Karma Spa. Offering holistic therapies, traditional chinese medicine and sports massage. Find total relaxation in one of the spa huts overlooking the ocean.
Spend your mornings wandering through the local markets, where you will find fishermen's wives selling fresh fish from the night before and an abundance of traditional balinese trinkets.
In the evenings the beach is lined with seafood restaurants, despite the fact the food can be hit and miss, its an experience you will never forget; sitting at a table with your toes in the sand watching the sunset is simply beautiful. Walking into the restaurant and seeing the seafood for yourself is the best way to ensure fantastic food.

The Rock Bar at Ayana is a beautiful place to watch the sunset with a cocktail, be sure to get there early as it packs out quickly and limits numbers allowed down.
