The Owner Recommendations

My recommendations are based on my experience and local knowledge.

• Best taxi company: Our 7 seat Toyota SUV is available with driver to hire. Alternatively, taxis can be found at the entrance to the resort.
• Closest money machine: At the entrance to the resort.
• Closest liquor store: Bring your favourite with you from the duty free stores as liquor (beer excluded) is expensive in Thailand. Local beer is very good and very cheap.
• Closest grocery store: Our cook, Khun Et, will do the grocery shopping for you. You are on holiday - grocery shopping is not on the list of activities!
• Best grocery store: Tesco Lotus offers everything you would find at home plus all the local delicacies.
• Best free activities: Swimming and sunbathing.
• Best paid activities: A day trip out to the islands is a must, as is a day out snorkeling. Again, we can recommend a great local company that operates from Ao Yon Beach, just 5 minutes away.
• Best night restaurants: For the best Thai food, we eat at home. Khun Et, our cook, makes withoiut doubt the best Thai food anywhere, so we never eat Thai out. Some of our favourite restaurants (in the world) are found in Phuket Town, just 15 minutes away by car. We can provife you with a list and introductions to the best.
• Best lunch eateries: Lunch can be prepared by our fabulous cook, either Thai or western
• Best breakfast eateries: Breakfast is normally served in the villa.
• Best local café/coffee: Sri Panwa has three world-class restuarants and there are five more just outside the entrance to the resort. Sawadee, a local Thai restaurant is a firm favourite with our guests.
