FAIR (60 days)
If the Property Owner/Manager applies a Fair Cancellation Policy, the Renter can cancel up to 60 days prior to the start of the Tenancy. Cancellation requests must be made in writing and received by the Property Owner/Manager, and AA, at least 60 days before the start of the Tenancy. The Renter will receive a 50% refund of the total booking value generated on AA, less the non-refundable commission fee.

The Owner Recommendations

My recommendations are based on my experience and local knowledge.

  • Other comments: Norfolk Island has just so much to offer - convict history, Mutiny on the Bounty history, natural beauty, rest and relaxation, loads of activities, a huge number of spectacular vantage points + more
  • Best taxi company: There is just one taxi on the island and they are on call whenever you need them.
  • Closest money machine: There is only one ATM on Norfolk Island which is at the Commonwealth Bank right at 'the' roundabout (there's only one!)
  • Closest liquor store: The Liquor Bond store found in town is the only store on the island. Enjoy 30% off liqueurs and spirits if you take you passport and ticket with you to the store.
  • Closest grocery store: There are 2 mini marts open until 9.00 pm - P&R Groceries and Paw Paw's Pump Shed - both only a short drive away
  • Best grocery store: Foodlands is the main grocery store open 7 days per week 8.30am - 6.00pm daily. Honesty boxes all over the island offer fresh produce and fruits in season.
  • Best free activities: Walk in the Wild, Botanical Gardens, National Parks and Reserve walks, snorkeling in Slaughter Bay, reading in any one of the beautiful corners of the island
  • Best paid activities: Over 80 tours! Rick's Personal Tours is highly recommended (max 6 people), expert knowledge and highly attentive.
  • Best night restaurants: Hilli Restaurant - we offer a special "Arrive and Dine" voucher to really spoil yourself on your first night - let us take the worry out of what to do after you arrive. We'll book you in - just ask.
  • Best lunch eateries: Governor's Lodge - great value and close by to Fe'awa
  • Best breakfast eateries: Governor's Lodge, Cafe Tempo, The Olive and others
