This is a fabulous house with magnificent scenic views and all that you could possibly need. IT is in a great location with plenty to do. The beds were super comfortable with luxury linens and towels. It is the perfect place for a friends getaway or family holiday, my dream home. Will definitely be coming back!

Would fully recommend Aspen House for a holiday. It was a beautiful relaxing home with the most beautiful views over the lake and mountains. We were lucky enough whilst we were there to see snow on the peaks in October. It was lovely to come home after a day of sightseeing, to be able to relax in a big outdoor undercover spa with the outdoor fire going, and also use the indoor sauna which was very nice. All very clean and modern. Separate lounge areas with coffee making facilities on the lower level, We had an extremely good experience staying there and highly recommend it.

Super superb comfortable luxurious place to stay. Very nice view. on the side of Lake Wakatipu. in front of a beautiful mountain. Never forget about this beautiful place. We stayed at Aspen House with friends for a week and it was one of the nicest places we have stayed in anywhere in the world (and we have travelled in over 50 countries). The location is close to town yet quiet and private. The rooms are all large and comfortable. There was plenty of room to have “your own space” whilst holidaying with friends. Loved the hot tub on the back patio, log fire and BBQ. The front patio was perfect for us to have a glass of wine and watch the Earnslaw Steam Boat make its trip up and down the Lake – it was simply enchanting to us. In the kitchen we found everything you could dream of to make our home away from home, including a fully stocked pantry of basic ingredients (a really nice touch) and coffee machines and fridges on both levels. The movie room was great with plenty of videos. We found the house was nice and sunny and warm and had the gas fires and underfloor heating for winter. All 4 bedrooms had a TV and an ensuited bathroom with fluffy white bathrobes (very lux) and complimentary toiletries. I wish we had stayed longer and we will certainly stay again when we are in Queenstown. I have attached a pic of the view from the living areas, bedrooms and balcony out over Queenstown that we enjoyed every day - simply beautiful.

We stayed at Aspen House with friends for a week and it was one of the nicest places we have stayed in anywhere in the world (and we have travelled in over 50 countries). Spent a week here with my family, WOW, what an amazing house. Very spacious , 4 big bedrooms, 3 living areas, spa, great kitchen and amenities. However other than being an absolute delightful property the views are unsurpassed, 220 degree views over the lake and the mountains make your stay here surreal, $10 cab fare into town so your away from the hustle and bustle , easy walk into town as well it’s downhill. I have stayed in some amazing rentals over the years but this one is hard to top, I booked it through Touch of Spice in NZ they are an amazing company to deal with and organised all of our activities Great company no stress If you can afford to stay here do it, you’ll thank me.

The property is located on Aspen Grove on a hillside overlooking Queenstown, the Lake and the view reaches out to the Remarkables, which are totally remarkable! Our party consisted of 4 couples who have travelled all over the world and we couldn't fault the design of this property or the amazing features including a sauna and hot tub. Two ensuited bedrooms are located downstairs with their own kitchen and lounge and the other two ensuited bedrooms including the unbelievable master are located upstairs, together with a spacious lounge/bar, media room, and dining room that have the most amazing views. All of this is located just 10 minutes out of downtown Queensland. We were so impressed with the views and ambience of this property that we had a chef come into the house and cook a beautiful dinner. the wine and the views were amazing. One night a barge sailed across the lake and an amazing fireworks display occurred. Of course there were many stories told about who created and paid for the display, especially as the wine and the night wore on. Luxury and indulgence describe this property, but nothing can prepare anyone for the amazing views from every room. Our recommendation is that you consider this amazing property before any other. We all had the best holiday and enjoyed each others company in style!

What an amazing stay we had at Aspen House in Queenstown. This luxury home away from home had everything and more. The location was perfect and let us experience the very best of what Queenstown has to offer. The house was incredibly spacious and was ideal for our extended family group of 8. We occupied the lower level with our young family and it was a lovely quiet retreat from the main areas with the added convenience of a laundry, kitchenette and coffee machine. Upstairs the main kitchen and pantry had everything we could have possibly needed and the media room and bar let us enjoy nights in after exploring Queenstown during the day. Each room had sweeping views of the lake and large windows to take it all in. The hot tub and sauna were just some of the many added luxuries that we welcomed after long days on the near by ski fields. The bedding was luxurious and comfortable and that combined with the underfloor heating made our nights very restful. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
