We stayed at this villa July- summer 2013. It was a perfect vacation!! The house is really nice!! It's always clean, has a great view, has all you need for cooking etc. the pool is perfect with the greatest view, there are very comfy beds and high class bathrooms in all bedrooms. The owner is extremely service minded and is always there when you need him. I've been in Crete approx. ten times before but have never seen a house like this! It's like the pictures - just better! You'll need a car to get around (other beaches, supermarkets, restaurants etc.). But we didn't mind this. In fact we didn't go out for dinner once, the villa was so great in the afternoon/night.

This was the best family holiday we have ever been on. The villa itself was amazing with more top of the range facilities than you could imagine. The pool was perfect with a beautiful view and there were ample outdoor spaces for relaxing. Many evenings were spent enjoying BBQs on the patio looking over the sea. Both the owner and the maid were very welcoming, hospitable and attentive. The owner was there to meet us on the first night (even though we did not arrive until after midnight) and allowed us to stay a little longer than our check out time on the final day as again our flight was not until the evening. Nothing was too much and the house was kept very clean and tidy. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had an amazing stay and were on hand to recommend restaurants to try in the evenings. A car is definitely a must for this holiday if you would like to see the beautiful coastline and visit supermarkets/beaches. We found the small beach right in front of the villa (Loutraki) to be one of the nicest in the region so we didn't stray far from there most days. Would recommend taking a trip to Chania town. A nice drive (until you reach Chania itself) and not too far in the car. Lots of nice restaurants (Ela was our choice) and a lovely harbour area to stroll around during the afternoon. The villa allowed us a chance to recouperate in a relaxing and tranquil setting and the service provided by the owner and his staff was second-to-none. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again as couldn't fault our stay.

The best vacation we could ever ask for! I really mean it when I say that everything was PERFECT. The villa was far more beautiful than we all imagined. This is the first time that the villa itself is more beautiful than the promotional pictures! The location of the villa is perfect. Very quiet, relaxing, and the view is just breathtaking! The rooms, facilities, Tv's, BBQ set, hot tub, pool, the kitchen, everything was just top notch. The owner is really really nice and fulfil every single need you'll have with a big smile and great pleasure. I'm sure that we'll be back, and I'll recommend this villa to everyone visiting Crete. Thank you for the awesome experience! :)

Just spent a week on the beautiful island of Crete in this luxurious villa. It is a superbly equipped modern villa with a stunning architectural design. It made for a perfect base for a family vacation with three double bedrooms all with luxurious en-suite facilities and great views. The local beaches were beautiful, quiet and secluded and Chania was only a short drive away for fantastic restaurants. All this with the glorious Autumn sunshine and the very welcoming and helpful owners made for a truly memorable vacation.

We can't recommend this billa enough. We just got back from a week stay and had the most wonderful time. If you're wondering if the pictures are too good to be true, we can assure you that's not the case! What you see is what you get! The owner's son is very helpful over email, and the owner himself is also beyond helpful (even took my parents to the super market as we did not rent a car). There are lovely local beaches and tavernas, so you do not need to stray far (unless you stay more than a week). The facilities/ amenities are first class. We loved the infinity pool, hot tub and nespresso machine topped up daily. We all had a wonderful time and will surely return one day :)

This is an exceptional property. The owner made us feel very welcome and gave us great advice on restaurants. The specs of this property are to a very high level and well thought out. The week we stayed went very fast and I would definitely recommend the property for either friends or family.

This was a fantastic property - very contemporary with everything you could wish for. We loved having the coffee machine which was refilled every day and our son appreciated the X box for the times when he wasn't in the lovely pool. The owner is very helpful, and friendly and went above and beyond, delivering 2 home made cakes and even organising a birthday cake for our daughter on an evening out. The local area is quiet but there is a small pleasant beach nearby and another one with 4 or five restaurants within a 10 minute drive of the villa. The town of Chania is not far away for a more varied selection of restaurants and shopping. All in all the villa was in a great quiet position and was very relaxing, a real home from home.

Our two girls loved all of the house and the environment. The engagement of the owners is more then exemplary. Efxaristò polì!

We are just back from a superb stay at this villa. The villa design, pools, location, view and amenities are excellent. We visited with family that included two small babies and a toddler. It was relaxing and peaceful. What really made the stay even more special was the personal service from the owners. They could not do enough for us and were always on hand with anything we needed. I would recommend you to stay!

We recently stayed at this villa near Chania on the island of Crete for the week of July 5-12 and had a wonderful time. We brought our two daughters and their husbands, and the 3 bedrooms with ensuite baths were perfect for us. This property is only a couple of years old, the retirement project of a former Greek Airforce fighter pilot (and high-ranking officer), and is a striking architectural presence only a few hundred feet above the beach at Loutraki. There is plenty of space to spread out, and we spent most of the time on the patio and in the plunge infinity pool and hot tub. The owner is a very hospitable host, and even brought us a huge pastitsio made by his sister-in-law for lunch one day. All of our pre-trip arrangements were made easily on line with his son, and he was wonderfully responsive with all our questions and arrangements, including arranging our car rental, putting us in touch with a tour company for a trip to Knossos and Heraklion, and even taking care of our request to bring a chef in one evening to cook for us (the chef and a celebrity in his own right, even took us to the old market in Chania to shop for the evening meal). The airport is close, the town of Chania is very interesting with numerous restaurants, and the villa was a comfortable place to spend time. There is daily housekeeping and there are spectacular sunrises. Our only regret is that the villa was so pleasant that we didn't want to go far afield to explore more of the wonderful island that is Crete. I guess we'll just have to go back again!

One word describes it: Perfect! Architectural gem, high quality amenities, location - 3 minutes to the beach, and above all the owners who will welcome you not as another customer but as a dear cousin! In this villa two weeks will pass like couple of days elsewhere, so my suggestion is to take it for at least two weeks. We will come back, definitely! I recently stayed a week in this villa with my children and it was a fantastic experience. The villa is beautiful, interesting, well organized and functional. It has excellent facilities and surroundings, and is simply very nice to stay in. It is also in an excellent location. In a quiet spot with excellent views etc., and yet very close to the airport, several beaches, good restaurants, Chania etc. The owners and the service personnel are all very friendly, service minded and pro active. You feel that they really want to do what they can to give you a good holiday and experience. We had an excellent time there, and would really like to come back some time.

We absolutely loved this place. The building itself, the layout and facilities as well as its wonderful, near perfect, location. Add to that, building owners who took a huge personal interest in the welfare of their guests. They met us at the airport, provided information of the area to such an extent that they did not only tell us where the best super market was but drove us there to make sure that we could find it. They also gave us the most wonderful treats of homemade foods. Somehow they managed to do all this whilst in no way being intrusive on our holiday. Great people indeed. The house has a lovely pool and bubble pool. The neighbouring house wasn't a bother either so please don't worry about that. We spent a lot of time in the pool most days but also loved the close proximity to the beach - about a 3 minute walk down the hill. There is a really loud young people's place next to the beach but they seemed to only be open on weekends so on these days we went to the other nearby beach which is about 5 minutes away by car. This is a place where they have some great tavernas which are also open in the evening. Absolutely beautiful. Apart from spending time at the wonderful villa we also went to Seitan's beach which was a tad scary but oh so worth it, off roading in the hills more inland as well as being shown round Chania by our private chef (booked by the owner as well and only hired for the evening sadly) who did not only take us shopping in the market for the evenings fare but also showed us around. The weeks stay was finished off with the most memorable meal at Pallas restaurant - on the rooftop next to the harbour - oh my it was good! To conclude - this is a really good place to stay. We could not recommend it more and hope to return next year (and the year after that and....).

Had the most wonderful stay at this villa. Beautiful architecture, luxury facilities (they've thought of everything), extreme comfort, glorious views, perfect location. Our friends took the house next door which was extremely handy but they are built for privacy so would not have been a problem if it was another family. Highlights of the property were morning swim in the infinity pool looking out over the sea, brilliant strong and hot shower room, evening meals cooked on the big BBQ and shared over a huge outdoor dining table on the patio, hot tub under the stars - I saw my first shooting star on the first night! Although there is plenty to visit (Chania, Balos beach, Limnoupolis waterpark) the local beach is 5mins walk from the villas and is idyllic. Remote and quiet, the water was crystal clear and irresistible. If you weren't one for exploring, you could happily spend the entire holiday between the villa and local beach. A small taverna at the foot of the hill provides great hospitality and huge delicious portions (alongside a generous offering of raki!) and there are a few more lovely places just over the headland in Marathi - this is not a party town (thankfully!) but there are several options if you want to eat out a few nights. The owner was a helpful and discreet host and the lovely housekeeper was a star. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough and cannot wait to return.

We stayed at this villa for 14 days and it was simply brilliant. Even the build up to the trip was easy and nothing was ever a problem for them. When we arrived the Villa was immaculate, and everything we had asked for like a child's cot was all set up and ready to go (parents travelling long distances will appreciate that). Rather than write a massive wall of words, I thought it might be better to bullet point the positives that made this a great holiday choice through the eyes of a Dad and someone who had friends staying in Villa 2 next door: - The location is perfect. There is a nice elevated view, you have a uber friendly and welcoming family taverna below the Villa, a beautiful and safe beach only a min's walk away and you are not in a location over run by tourists. Chania is also only a 15 min drive away which is fantastic. - The Villa is modern, exceedingly well equipped, beautifully designed and has all the creature comforts of home with a nice piece of green grass out back for the kids to play (they even had a childs play house and slide setup for us). - The pool and spa are fantastic with stunning views off the edge of the pool. - The surrounding area has some real gems to visit and provides a great base to visit some of the attractions further a field like Balos (1 hour 30 by car) and Rythimon (1 hour 20 by car). - If you get the opportunity to get the chef in to cook a meal then you have to do it. The food was outstanding!!! -The owners go out of their way to ensure everything runs smoothly with your stay and if you ever had a question they would be more than happy to answer it for you. They were exceedingly accommodating and thoughtful. - The cleaner is super friendly, really thorough and will work around your timings. All in all, this Villa provided everything that we were looking for in a holiday to Crete and went above our expectations. If we could go back tomorrow we would.
