Instant relaxation! As my title says, a few hours here and I was totally relaxed, despite having my two kids with me! A discrete, quiet and rural location makes this a perfect setting. Great food and wine. I had a 3 bed house, again amazing, and spent a long weekend here. All I can do now is look forward to a return trip. The perfect long weekend.

Spent a quiet and very relaxed week here recently with my partner. The Chateau has been restored to impeccable order and the gardens and pool are extremely well maintained. The staff are very friendly and all speak decent English. The idea behind a vacation here should be truly relaxed and also just to be left alone as you feel that you sometimes have the entire place to yourself even though it could be completely booked out. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for here. Make sure to try the local markets and also the nearby restaurants which are good value and I must say we were pleasantly surprised. The resort is only in operation two years and I'm told that their are plans to improve (not that its needed) each year. If your looking for nice romantic spot were you can just spend your days lazing around the pool or local towns or beaches and not bothered by anyone this is the spot. Thanks again to all the gang at the Chateau. We'll be back.

The Chateau is a joint owned venture with the owners renting their properties back to the 'hotel' most of the year. We were lucky to be there when the owners were in residence as they were such a great crown. Fabulous views, rooms and food! Amazing wines, pool, games rooms. All rooms are actually like apartments with kitchen facilities, so you can buy your own bit and breakfast/dinner having brought at the local markets. Or BBQ. We loved it! Lots of places around for dinner but we chose to eat in twice as we like a drink! Great food and service. You can find at some times in the day service a little erratic, but give them a wink and a gentle polite nudge and it all happens! A HEATED 20m pool.......by the vines with great loungers and this view.......wonderful!
