Stayed at the Chateau had a wonderful stay. The apartment we stayed in was amazing - it was kitted out to the highest level and was extremely comfortable. The views are amazing and the restaurant is well worth trying. There are also lots of nice restaurants within close proximity. It is not to far from the sea and there are lots of lovely places to visit. I enjoyed just sitting in the village square in Capestang watching the world go by. It was one of the most relaxing breaks I have ever had. Also the staff are very attentive and if you have any problems or want to know anything about activities or places they cannot do enough to help you. While we we're there they had a wine tasting evening which we enjoyed very much. I also painted my 1st picture whilst sitting in the orangerie with a glass of their excellent wine. (most enjoyable) Comment - this renovation project has been done here is to the highest calibre and I would thoroughly recommend a visit to it!!!

There's is very little to add here that hasn't already been mentioned by previous reviewers and all the praise is entirely justified. The chateau is in a beautiful location in an area with plenty to do and is a wonderful choice for travellers with babies in children. We found it to be the ideal balance between boutique hotel and self catering accommodation - making it the best of both worlds. We had all the convenience of s/c with all of the amenities/luxury of a hotel. Service was great, staff were attentive and all in all, it represents good value (though is not cheap per se). I can't think of many other places that combine luxury and family friendly quite so well, so on that basis I think we will almost certainly return.

My husband and I have just returned from 11 nights at this Chateau. We had a wonderful time and would be struggling to find any fault with it. The whole setting is 360 degrees of sheer beauty. We dined in the restaurant twice (we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary there and on this particular night they surpassed themselves). We also ate at the BBQ arranged one night and the quality of the ingredients were superb. We made the most of the pool (often having it to ourselves), the outside eating area and the bikes (we even found a cycle path which takes you right to the nearest village). At the beginning of the stay there were quite a few families with small children but I am glad to say all children were well behaved and their parents very mindful of others without children around. The staff are just lovely, fun, friendly and very approachable. I am sure we will be back one day...
