Desperate for sunshine, our son and his family ( living in miserable Surrey but Australian) suggested we meet at this Chateau for an extended weekend. The family remembered the week we had at the Chateau exactly a year ago (we are Australians in France for 3 months). The 3 bedroom apartment is extremely comfortable and spacious. The apartment's pool was too cold whereas the resort pool was heated to 28 degrees. The staff are very friendly, relaxed. And generous. Drinking and dining on the terrace under the facade of the Chateau was spectacular. We ordered bread and croissants from reception for delivery each day. We borrowed the Chateau's bike and rode down to and along Canl du Midi with the twin 4 year old boys in seats on each bike. Similarly, there are some nice walks. Local restaurants are very accessible by car. And it was sunny and warm but we can imagine it would be cold in the low months.

We have just got back from our second visit to tis chateau. This time we had the Garden Cottage which was just lovely. It was a mini honeymoon as it so happens. We had planned the trip prior to our wedding so didn't realise at the time. However, it couldn't have been nicer. We had our own pool and garden and were away from everyone else yet could sit round the main pool or visit the lounge if we fancied some company. This time we bbq'd every night and had a relaxing time. We would go back for sure but not without our dog Rusty! Many of the people there who happened to be owners of the various properties all seemed to have their dogs with them, so it made us miss ours! A lovely place.
