We stayed three nights for a wedding recently and had a superb time. Our accommodation was a three bedroom cottage, which was spacious with three lovely bathrooms and a large kitchen, living, dining space. It was fully equipped with everything we needed and had the added bonus of a small private pool - not heated until June, but we still braved a few icy dips! We got the sun on our terrace until late into the evening, which a lot of other spots didn't and had a great view over the chateau gardens and on towards vineyards. The whole chateau is extremely well equipped and staff are very happy to help out. With the main pool, tennis courts, volleyball, boules and a large BBQ area, there really is something for everyone. The buffet-style breakfast was lovely, or you can do some shopping in nearby Capestang and fend for yourself too. We also had a lovely dinner in the restaurant one evening which was great value. Will definitely go back.

I have just come back from a long weekend at this Chateau and cannot rave enough about about my stay to my friends and family. Flying to Beziers airport from Manchester later Friday afternoon was super easy and a short 30 min hop in the car and we were sat down for dinner at 9pm, relaxed and ready for the weekend to start. Dining in the restaurant was exquisite, the chateaux's wines were delicious and reasonably priced and the locally sourced ingredients provided a delightful menu. The fillet of boeuf in particular was spectacular. However what sets apart for me is the relaxed atmosphere and setting of the dining and excellent service, the staff really made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We had a two bedroom apartment in the main building with beautiful views of the infinity pool. The apartment decor was to die for, a farrow and ball lovers dream, with quality fittings and attention to detail. I particularly like the fact that you have the option of a self catering stay, including well stocked kitchen and washing machine - which is unusual for a boutique hotel. This time I had travelled without my two young children but I wished they were there as they would have loved it. It is so well catered for those families who still want a luxury boutique hotel feel to their holiday but a holiday where they can relax as the children are fully catered for. This even came down to small details like ensuring that there were free bikes for the children with stabilisers and child seats so you could take the bikes out as a family. Will be returning soon with my children :)

I came here with a group of girlfriends last year and had the best time! In fact, so good that we are coming back again this month. The Chateau is only an hour's easy drive from Montpellier (30 mins from Bezier) airport and we were sat enjoying drinks on the terrace before dinner. The house we had was very clean, well furnished and equipped and comfortable. Fabulous showers too. We spent a luxurious couple of days relaxing by the pool, which was heated and afforded beautiful views over the French country side. In the evening there was a choice of dining in the restaurant sitting under the shelter of the stunning chateau itself or simply relaxing at home - lovely to have the option to do both. The food in the chateau is fabulous, very traditional for the area, as is the local wine. All in all a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle and spend time catching up with friends.

I stayed here with 4 friends and it was the perfect place for a reunion. You had the option of your own space, with a lovely lounge/ diner/kitchen open plan room, well decorated and furnished and ideal to congregate in or sitting outside by the pool. Equally, you could walk over in 2 minutes to the facilities with the main Chateau.. Large pool, lovely restaurant with great food, large outside terrace, etc. The drive up to the venue and when you 1st see the Chateau is magical. Access from several airports easy too, making it good for a weekend, a mini break, or for a long holiday. Highly recommend!

We spent a wonderful girls weekend at the chateau, a group of old school and university friends who all lead busy lives, this was the perfect opportunity to spend some time together and unwind. The Chateau could not have been more perfect, it is so relaxed yet luxurious at the same time. We rented one of the 'Maisons de la cave' which slept 7 of us, the house was beautiful and spacious, we even had our own private pool. We ate in the restaurant the first night, the food was delicious, there was also a band playing downstairs so we wandered down after our meal for some dancing and drinking… The following day we all felt a bit jaded so we spent the day relaxing (easily done here!), swimming in the main infinity pool with views across to the Pyrenees and playing tennis. We loved just hanging out around the chateau so we spent the next 2 nights cooking at the house and going for drinks at bar on the terrace overlooking the pool. Perfect spot for a girls weekend, in fact some of my friends even likened it to 'Babington House', quite an accolade! We'll be back again next year… and the year after….!

I just spent a long weekend with girlfriends at this fabulous chateau. We stayed in a 3 bed house, all with ensuite bathrooms, mine was in a stunning turret room. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the whole place had a very welcoming atmosphere. Stunning buildings, beautiful views and great food. The local area has so much to offer but we were happy to stay as there is so much to enjoy at the chateau. I would definitely go back, in fact we are already planning next year's trip.

It's an exceptional spot - we stayed in a beautifully furnished townhouse which came with its own pool, two wonderfully comfortable bedrooms, all mod cons (and then some) - obviously a labour of love by the talented owners. Being at the end of the terrace it had a much bigger garden which made all the difference to the outlook and openess of the views. The Chateau itself is a two minute stroll through the parkland grounds overlooking the vineyards and whoever converted the whole property should take a bow. Dining alfresco on the Terrace or in the cosy restaurant never disappointed and the staff were both efficient and friendly. The pool at the Chateau is huge - and popular with families - so we preferred to use our own.

What a wonderful find! I came with my daughter and her three children for a short break, and the whole experience was brilliant. The facilities at the chateau are so well thought out, with immaculate accommodation, spacious, spotless and maintained to the highest standard. The air conditioning was very efficient and welcome. The staff were professional and very helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. The children loved the infinity swimming pool and also enjoyed the kids club and the bikes which were freely available. The food served in the brasserie and on the terrace was first class, and the facilities for cooking in our house made it a pleasure to prepare meals as well. The location of the chateau is perfect, as it is within easy reach from Beziers and Montpellier airports. The views over the vineyards are stunning, and the chateau wines produced are very drinkable and at a reasonable price. This is the ideal place to come and relax, even with young children, and we shall definitely be returning. Thank you to the owners for giving us such a great time.

It should be difficult to fault a place that clearly has such a loyal following and is generally booked up as soon as they open reservations for the summer holidays, however...you will be reminded constantly (website, booking confirmation, check-in etc.) that this is not a 5* star hotel with 5* service even though you're paying 5* prices. The chateau and location are beautiful. The pool area is also lovely, and facilities like tennis courts, bikes etc. are great. But the food is average and the service outside of meal times almost non existent...you have to hunt for someone to get you a drink or snack other times. This probably highlights the fact that this place is following the recent trend of properties trying to be both a hotel and apartment/villa resort which leaves it a bit confused at times...better if you're staying in one of the villas but not so good if you're staying in one of the "rooms" or "apartments" in the main chateau like we were. We were surprised to be told that we needed to clean the room and empty the bins on departure...really, at these prices! Our room in the chateau was large and nicely presented in a modern shabby-chic style with a well equipped kitchenette but not great for the price. Bottom line - 4/5 is a slightly generous rating, we might stay again if we went to this area again but would look around for an independent villa in the area first given the price and average restaurant. Btw, this is a family hotel, don't go in the summer if you're a couple looking for some romance.

Stayed with the family in one of the apartments and we were very pleased. Location and decor are magnificent while it provides a great base for discovering this quiet corner of languedoc. We will definitely be going back.

I stayed at Le Château at the end of May, which, to me, was the perfect time of year to unwind in an amazing surrounding: warm but not too hot, heated swimming pools - including the private ones, quite families and couples, all there to relax. I absolutely love the chubby chic setting, and the way everything is kept into perfect condition. The staff is very professional, friendly and discrete. I had dinner and breakfast there, it's all about simple and quality products, which I love, no need for complicated recipes when the quality and chef's expertise are sufficient. I also enjoyed a wine tasting with a local producer, passionate about his job and products. After all, the best proof of the establishment quality, to me, was the fact that the locals come to relax and unwind in the evening too.

Firstly, I write this review having stayed at the Chateau when the weather was rainy and dull and so can only imagine that it is gorgeous in the warmth and sunshine. We had a three bedroom house which was nicely decorated; chic/shabby chic (a tad cold in terms of colours i.e. lots of grey) but again, I think this was just accentuated by the dreary weather. The bar/restaurant area is nice a cosy and there is a roof terrace offering amazing views. The swimming pool area looked amazing as did the apartments with their own pools. The wine list was extensive and the service very good and friendly.

Just got back from a long weekend for our nieces wedding at this Chateau, it was an amazing venue, not to mention the stunning Chateau setting. From the rooms to the Staff everything was perfect. Perfect place for a group to enjoy this beautiful place set in Vineyards with lots of fabulous things to do close by too, this is a jewel of a place to stay, we did Breakfast and Dinner aside from the Wedding package but the apartments are so well fitted out with everything you would need to enjoy your stay, well worth the journey and the money could not have asked for more.
