The fig tree was in ripe bloom, the vineyard about to be harvested, the sun shone brightly every day and the most comfortable home awaited us after each day's touring. Sound like Eden. It was or rather is. The house is a large beautifully furnished home. Room after room is brightly decorated and every door seems to lead to yet another patio or seating area. And the back yard is the owner's vineyard, the grapes heavy on the vine. The house is perfect for kids and large groups, the appliances (to be mundane for a moment) are all new and work beautifully. The house is nestled in a small village bur you always had the sense that you were completely private. Never did see another denizen. We have rented half a dozen lovely houses throughout Provence in the last decade. This is the only one we will come back to. The owner was always available by phone had we any questions. The house cleaner lives in the village so she's available in case of need. There was none but it's nice to know. In sum, we loved it.

We had a lovely stay at this farmhouse. The home is gorgeously decorated with pastel colors and comfortable beds and furniture. We enjoy cooking so days were spent at the Uzes or Bagnols Sur Ceze farmers markets and evenings spent sipping rose by the pool and cooking great meals. The town is very quiet and peaceful with 2 wineries where we purchased very reasonable and excellent local wine. The owner was a joy to communicate with and her restaurant recommendations were spot on. I would highly recommend her home for the perfect Southern France vacation.

This house is possibly even better than its description.... which rather underplays the glorious setting, looking out over the vineyard to the ridge beyond and providing a simply glorious view. The house itself is very much as advertised: loads of space overall and enough rooms for every member of the party to lose themselves in if they so wish (!); very stylish decor and well-equipped; extensive outside space for eating, sunbathing or relaxing. The only downside for some might be the eccentric layout–it genuinely takes time to memorise what's where–but for us it added to the charm. Everything very well maintained and shipshape. We went for a lazy holiday and consequently mostly ate in- or rather, usually outside with the excellent barbecue. There looked to be a very good and well written up restaurant in Gaujac to the south-east; we tried the house recommendation in Connaux that was pretty good. A final tip–finding the village and house coming from the Tresques direction proved very tricky. Probably best to come from the North or South 1st time round.

We spent a week in this exquisite Provençal farmhouse with our children and grandchildren. We have rented other lovely places in France, but this was outstanding because of the owner's friendly and helpful attitude and beautiful taste in redoing an old mas. The view from the terrace and pool, surrounded by lavender and olive trees and vineyards, was unforgettable. We liked it so much we had dinner on the terrace almost every evening. The owner recommended a neighbor who was happy to cook wonderful meals for us every evening. All the ingredients came from her garden or from local farmers and markets, and all were delicious. After delightful days of canoeing, touring, or lunching in the excellent restaurants within driving distance, it was truly a luxury to come home, swim, set the table, have a glass of wine and wait for the cook to arrive with our dinner. The grandchildren even did the dishes. It was heaven! The house is comfortable and beautifully furnished. The kitchen is huge and very well equipped. It is perfect for a large family or group of friends. There are fans in every room which we appreciated in the summer. The owner has young children so there are toys and bikes and games. There are also fireplaces in several rooms which we did not use but which would be lovely in the fall. The location is perfect, in a quiet area but within easy driving distance of so many interesting places to visit: the Pont du Gard, Arles, Nîmes, Avignon, Chateauneuf du Pape, Uzès, Vaison la Romane - I could go on and on. The owner has thoughtfully provided tourist information. She even mentions the traveling pizza truck that stops in a neighboring village on Friday evenings. We did get pizza there our last night and it was great. The pizza man so many different kinds of pizza (roquefort, Alsatian flammekuche, sausage, olives). We ordered far too many and loved them all! The owner responded quickly to any questions we asked by email. The property is if anything even more attractive in reality than in the pictures. It is clean and beautifully maintained by a friendly staff. We did talk to the pool man and and the gardener who were very friendly. All in all, we can't sat enough good things about this place!

This house is simply beautiful. Finished to the highest specification it is both comfortable and luxurious at the same time. The owner has thought of everything a guest might need to enjoy their stay and we were not disappointed. The bedrooms are well appointed and kitchen is fabulous. It opens onto a deck with seating for a large group that overlooks the owner’s vineyards. The swimming pool is nicely sized for a relaxing dip. We would have no hesitation in recommending this as a holiday location and will certainly visit again. The owner couldn’t have been more accommodating and was a delight to deal with. Located at the southern end of the Cote de Rhone and the north end of Provence, the surrounding area has much to do and see including the historic town of Uzes and Mount Ventoux – nicknamed the ‘Beast of Provence’.

It was our first visit here and it won't be our last. The interior of the house was simply stunning, as was the garden and view across the vineyard. We loved this area of Provence and all it had to offer. We were even treated to the local bull run in Uzes. The owner's attention to detail did not go unnoticed, the house was full of character, charm and was very well equipped. We would not hesitate in recommending this beautiful house and only wish we could have stayed longer. Paradise!
