We just returned from a week at Luxury Family Holiday Home and had a fabulous time. We are a family of 4 (kids 11 and 13), whether you want to chill and read in the beachfront hammock, swim or snorkel a few steps from the house, or paddle a kayak or paddleboard the choice is yours. The house location is a really good part of the reef and you can swim/snorkel no matter if high or low tide. Whilst the snorkeling is good in front of the house we have found that the snorkelling is at its best a bit further south down the beach at the Rarotongan Beach Resort. Its a really easy and beautiful walk along the beach to get there (The resort itself is awful but it's snorkelling is amazing.) Luxury Family Holiday Home well caters for all eventualities, A TV and DVD's for a rainy day or a chillaxing evening, Bluetooth sound system, Board games etc. The kitchen is particularly well appointed and equipped, there's everything you need to cater for your holiday. The supermarket in town is well stock with all familiar brands so self catering is really easy. Not forgetting the fresh fish shop...OMG the most amazing selection of game fish and really well priced. We would really recommend Luxury Family Holiday Home for anyone looking for a family friendly home away from home slap bang on the most beautiful white sandy beach and turquoise water. We will be back!

The holiday home is about 10 kms from town on the sunset side of Raro. The house has everything you could need for a great relaxing stay. Canoes, stand up paddle board, loads of snorkelling gear, and push bikes. I will not go back to a resort after this staying at this place. You get to meet the friendly locals and see what they do like night diving and spearing fish, the 3 legged dog that catches fish and loads more!! We will be back!!!

This is the most beautiful holiday home I have ever stayed in! It also happens to be located on a gorgeous beach perfect for safe swimming, snorkelling & kayaking. I can't wait for the opportunity to get back there again! Thoroughly recommend it to anyone considering a holiday in Rarotonga where you enjoy a bit of your own space. The other wonderful thing was that there is a great little beach bar just a short stroll away for those sunset cocktails!

This is the perfect holiday spot for all ages. It is situated beside a stunning beach, with great snorkelling, and we even saw a turtle. It contains all the amenities for seaside living, with an upmarket kitchen if you feel like preparing all your meals; in fact you don't need to leave the property, as it it fitted out to accommodate all holiday needs. There's lots to do on the island and the scooters are a fun way to explore and navigate your way around the perimeter. Highlights would be our day trip to Aitutaki, another island with gorgeous beaches and the whitest sand!!! Trader Jacks and Tamarind House are recommended for an evening out as well as the Island Experience at Te Varanui. This house is the perfect choice for a chilled out, hassle free holiday on the friendly and sunny island of Rarotonga!!!

This house is a very modern property with all amenities that any one could require. It's positioning on the sunset coast is awesome, and being able to walk across their lawn to the white sand and blue waters of the lagoon, with whales leaping out of the water just behind the reef, was amazing. A perfect place to relax and do as much or as little as you want.

The moment we walked in we were just so happy. The house is finished so nicely and to a high standard. Everything you could ever need and more on your holiday was there. The owners were very good to deal with, the house is situated on a lovely beach with plenty of space in the back yard to chill or have a laugh with family and friends, I would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone, definitely worth it.

This has been our 4th visit to the Cook Islands but the first time at this house. I have to say, it has been excellent. We had my brother with wife and two kids with us this time and the space we had in the house was excellent. Everybody had their own little space without stepping on each other's toes. The host, we have to say, is just awesome. She met us in town to give us a second house key and had a lovely chat. I also enjoyed a few phone calls with her. Lovely, lovely person. The beach was beautiful and private, a few people walked past, but not "heavy traffic" at all. We made good use of the snorkelling gear and the Kayak's. The thing we learned on the first day, was to be careful with leaving doors open and food lying around. Those cheeky birds get into the house and have a run around. We found them even in our ensuite!!! The house was clean, comfortable and very well looked after. Well done. We will be back again next year for another beautiful holiday here. Many, many thanks!

We spent a week at this idealic property which is situated right on the beach at the western side of the island positioned just right to catch the most amazing sunsets. We were with extended family and the property is set up for either couples or including children. Every thing is supplied right down to kayaks, bikes and snorkelling gear and there is an option of a vehicle hire, the house is beautifully appointed and has more gismoes in it than is really necessary. We have been going to Rarotonga since 1984 and have stayed in quite a few hotels etc and this is a far better option. The setting was magnificent who needs the Greek Isles when we have this on our doorstep.

This is a beautiful three bedroom, two year old home, located on one of the best beaches (Aroa) in Rarotonga !! You can swim and snorkel there all day, regardless of tides, and the house is right on the beach! It is beautiful beach, quite private, with white sand, and crystal clear water. Aroa beach is on the western side of the island, where it is quieter, has less wind, and gorgeous sunsets! The house is of an excellent standard, with beautiful decor, and all the modern appliances. The owners are very helpful, and quick to respond to any queries, and the property manager who lives in Rarotonga is a lovely friendly lady, who ensures your stay is hastle free. They also have a car you can rent of them, at good rates. My husband and I stayed with our daughter and boyfriend, which worked really well, as the main bedroom has an ensuite, and the two other bedrooms have another bathroom. You could easily stay there with two families, as the third bedroom has a double bunk, plus three other single bunks. Would definitely recommend this property!!!
