This place was great! We went there for my good friends Mason and Asta's after wedding celebration! The house is gorgeous - 20 feet away from the ocean with it's own pool!! We spent our days surfing, snorkeling, hiking and drinking rum!! We also spent an incredible day spelunking with our guides couldn't have been better! Thanks for sharing your place with us!

We stayed at the Villa the last week of March 2013. It was a family/surfing vacation. We rented the whole house plus the guest house. Everything you need for a vacation was home was provided. The awesome owner was very helpful in answering all our questions on where to eat, where to rent boards, and his local knowledge of the surf breaks was spot-on. He's a great guy and he has a great place. We will be going back soon.

We stayed in the Guest Villa (2 adults, 2 kids) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa was comfortable, clean, quiet and well appointed (a little tight for family of 4, but much better than a hotel room or suite...for a better price.) The owner was very accommodating and provided us with referrals for surfing instruction etc. The beautiful private pool (shared with the family in the Main Villa) with swim up tiki bar (complete with refrigerator, sink and TV with satellite & music) was a main attraction, as was the beachfront location and access to awesome local surf spots. Maria's, Piston's and Dogman's are right out your front door. The Villas sit just in front of Calypso's - a local restaurant/bar and Desecheo Surf shop. Easy access to good food, drinks and board rentals. Heaven!

The owner and his staff could not have been more accommodating. We had an issue with our wedding planner, and they all stepped in and made it the best wedding ever. The property is immaculate and the house is gorgeous. Eight days just weren't long enough...we can't wait to go back! There were a few problems, which were fixed immediately... My husband and I cannot say enough about this villa. We had a wedding for 80 ppl and every single one of them said it was the best wedding ever, thanks to this amazing house and staff. Thank You!

We stayed at this beautiful spot for 8 nights, one of which was our wedding night! The privacy of this place and beach is absolutely perfect. There is an electronic gate and a foot gate, which made us feel safe, but if anyone forgot to close it, we didn't feel unsafe. The pool and the swim-up bar was probably one of the best features! Since we had 11 people staying here, and friends/family visiting, we always had a friend behind the bar serving delicious drinks! We also were there in August, so the pool was a nice way to cool off....all day! The staff became our best buds. They were MORE than helpful everyday we were there, from fixing things that were broken when we arrived, to cleaning the pool that we had too much fun in, to giving us tips on where to eat, helping out at the wedding, where to get a massage, and more! The event was amazing! The power had gone out due to a nearby storm, and we had NO idea because the generator kicked in seamlessly. The setup is great with the bar, outdoor bathrooms and showers, built in dance floor right on the driveway and the location is all the decoration you need. Our wedding was for 50 people, which was perfect. I think up to 100 would be comfortable too. A few (minor) downfalls were a few appliances not working properly (master bathroom standup shower jets, dishwasher, toaster oven, coffee pot, etc) which really were no biggy, but considering the beautiful property and price we paid, we expected everything to work properly. I wasn't happy about having to pay cash, in addition to the weekly rental, for a "mandatory housekeeper." I'm glad she came, because that house is way too big to clean! Just wished the fees were built into the rental for the ease and comfort of our guests. We weren't able to use wifi 80% of the time because it kept resetting while we were there. I think that is due to the internet service, and not the home itself. The downfalls are MINOR compared to how AMAZING this place is! We are already considering booking a trip in a year or two with a smaller, more controlled group of friends! Definitely feels like a home away from home for sure!

We just recently had our wedding here and it was an amazing experience. We had a small group of family who stayed with us and they all enjoyed every minute of their stay. They won't stop talking about it :) The owner was great. He was there when he was needed and was very attentive and made sure everything was clean and in order at all times. (Maybe a little bit too much some times but I prefer that over an absentee owner who doesn't do anything) He was also a great help on our wedding day. The sunset view almost every evening was AMAZING! The pictures of the Villa online do not compare to how beautiful the property actually is along with the amazing view. Overall it was a very beautiful experience and with his help everything turned out great.
