My wife and I have traveled extensively around the world, and have been lucky to stay at some of the best premium hotels and B&Bs, so we're a bit sensitive to quality gaps -- between what's advertised and what's delivered. When we booked this house for a week in June, we expected a lot, and we got a lot. Simply put, this is probably the best place we've stayed in Australia -- we were struck by incredible attention to detail -- from the preparation, to the architecture, the furnishings, the private grounds, and the lighting. It was like we were staying in someone's home, not a rental. For 3 of the nights we were there, we had our three adult children and their partners stay with us. The house allowed for large meals as well as enough private spaces to let everyone do their own thing if they wanted to. I would highly recommend this place.

This place is stunning...from the peaceful outdoor patio to the beautifully decorated rooms that look like pictures in a magazine, words can't describe how breathtaking this house is. This was the perfect ending to our incredible trip to Australia! We enjoyed every minute of our stay there and hated to leave. We will definitely be back!

We had the most wonderful stay at this property for our honeymoon last year. There was so much space, beautiful styling, excellent cleanliness, all tucked away in the private piece of tropical heaven. Heaps to do and see nearby, which we enjoyed, but most of all we loved swimming in our own pool every day and relaxing on the balcony day bed reading in the peace and tranquility. Thank you, we hope this will be the first of many stays at this property.

Such a lovely home. We had a group of 11. 4 children under 4 and 7 adults. The home is a little challenging for kids under 2.. Once we found the child gate to put up it was a lot easier. The views and walking is great. Its location is also very good, only 20 mins from Cairns, but there is a shopping centre 5 minutes down the road for groceries. Had a great time playing board games at night, walks in the morning and then off to tourist activities.

We are cairns locals who wanted a family weekend getaway close to home. When we arrived we were so impressed by this luxurious treetop home surrounded by lush tropical gardens. The home is gorgeous at all times of the day. We spent hours in the pool, watched a movie downstairs, and relaxed on the sweeping verandas and spa. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Waking up in the morning and looking out into the rain forest was magical.

My husband, children and I had the wonderful experience of staying at this villa for 5 days. Our accommodation completely surpassed our expectations - giving us that instant 'holiday' feel and creating an environment where it was impossible to think about work and the worries of day to day life. It was an incredible escape and, despite being completely accessible and only 10 minutes from the middle of Cairns, this house gave a sense of complete privacy and seclusion. Thank you for a holiday that will never be forgotten.

For the first time in years I witnessed my Dad smile and relax on a family vacation! The setting and location provided the most amazing atmosphere, which set the feel for a relaxing and beautiful getaway. I hired this property for my 30th as I was able to have my extended family stay with us in the one location and just relax and spend quality time together. My children were never bored as they spent quality time in the pool as well as exploring the friendly & different wildlife that was so abundant to the rainforest surrounding us. The 4 days we had in Cairns went by so fast and the best part about it was the fact that we never once turned on our car to drive anywhere once we arrived. Would go back in a heart beat! Thank you.

Where do I start! We hired the house as a large group for a hens weekend and it was just perfect! On the first night there were four of us, we enjoyed swimming in the pool and relaxing on the large deck.. all surrounded by lush rain forest! The bride to be was blind folded and was absolutely blown away by the house, its amenities, location and beauty! When all the other girls arrived, entertaining was easy from the fully equipped kitchen and BBQ. Would love to go back... maybe as a couple next time.

One of the best get away properties I have ever been to. This is a long overdue review on this excellent property. Everything was perfect. The place is clean, well decorated, quiet. Only thing was wifi didn't work for 2 days. The owner was so nice that he even took us to see hundreds of kangaroos. It's the perfect vacation rental for any going to Cairns. Overall there is nothing wrong with the place. It looks EXACTLY like how the pictures show online. I highly recommend it.

We stayed at this wonderful house for about 7 nights. We had 2 adults and 4 children, ages 9-12. This house was as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. The kitchen was fully equipped so we cooked frequently. The beds were very comfortable. The house faces into the forest so there was complete privacy. The owners were very responsive to anything we needed or any of our questions. If you are staying in the Carins area, this is definitely the place to stay!
